PVC boards are made from expanded closed-cell Polyvinyl Chloride, a rigid, lightweight plastic with a smooth satin finish that prints cleanly and holds up outdoors. Unlike foam board or gator board, PVC is moisture resistant, making it the right choice when signage needs to handle weather, humidity, or regular handling.
Also known as PVC signs or PVC board printing, this material is commonly used for durable indoor and outdoor applications where standard boards would not hold up.
We print directly onto the board surface using full color UV ink on one or both sides. Colors are sharp, consistent, and fade resistant with proper care. Standoffs and grommets are available at checkout for wall mounting and hanging.

Single Sided or Double Sided PVC Boards
Front Only
Printed on one side. Best for wall-mounted signs, displays against a surface, or any application where the back is not visible. Common for real estate signs, retail displays, and event signage.
Front and Back
Printed on both sides. Ideal for signs viewed from multiple directions such as hanging signs, post-mounted signs, or freestanding displays. Available on 1/8" and 1/4" PVC — select Front and Back in the Color option at checkout.
Custom Shape Contour Cut
PVC boards can be cut to any custom shape using our digital flatbed cutter. At checkout select Custom Shape Contour Cut in the Die Cutting option and upload your vector shape file. We can cut to any outline including logos, silhouettes, letters, product shapes, and freeform designs.
Your shape file needs to be in vector format. AI, EPS, or PDF with live paths all work. Submit it as a separate file from your print artwork. If you do not have a vector file our design team can help convert it for you. Reach out before ordering if you are not sure about your files and we will take a look.
Custom shape PVC boards are popular for logo cutouts in lobbies and retail walls, shaped menu boards for restaurants, branded outdoor signs that stand out from a standard rectangle, and event signage where the shape itself reinforces the message.
Custom Paint and Color PVC
Standard PVC boards are white. If your project needs a specific board color rather than a printed background, color PVC boards are available via custom quote. Color PVC uses a painted or pigmented substrate so the edges and any exposed board surface match the overall color rather than showing white on the sides.
Color PVC costs more and takes longer to produce than standard white boards. Send us a custom quote with your color requirements and we will get back to you with availability, pricing, and lead time.
White ink and clear gloss printing are also available on PVC boards for specialty applications. Just mention it in your quote request and we will include it in the pricing.
Custom Thickness
The standard cart has 1/8" and 1/4" white PVC. For projects that need something heavier we offer additional thickness options via custom quote. Use the guide on the right to find the right option for your project.
