Is your straight tension fabric stand the same as a pop up tube stand?

Yes, just as other products there are several names that are referred to in the industry. The frame is a tube so therefore some call it a pop up tube stand, we call it a tension fabric stand. As the saying goes, do you. It is all correct.

How thick is your tension fabric?

It comes in at a whopping 8.8 oz thick which is industry standard and washable.

What is the difference between your tension stand and tension displays?

Our displays are much bigger and our stands are smaller sizes. For example our smallest display is 8'x8' and our smallest stand is 36"x90". Displays are used to cover a bigger area for conventions or events. The tension stands cover a much smaller area so therefore the message and the design can be vastly different. Although they both utilize the tube aluminum framing and the tension fabric pull over the displays are built heavier due to their size but definitely are the same concept.

Does your tension fabric actually stretch?

Yes, it has an elasticity to it which stretches the fabric. This fabric is different from our other fabric materials.

Can I use the tension fabric stand as a step and repeat banner or backdrop?

Absolutely! A lot of our clients use tension fabric stand for photo backdrops or step and repeat banners for a red carpet event. Although a lot smaller in size, if designed right it can definitely work for a lot of events and usages.

Can I use my tension fabric stand outdoors?

Although it is not designed for outdoor use, we have experienced it working outdoors in a short amount of time. Such as a red carpet event or photo shoot. Please note depending on the weather elements and no wind then it should be fine. We do not recommend leaving your display outdoors at all.

Can I wash my straight tension fabric display?

Yes, it is made from washable polyester. The tension fabric displays can be machine washed in cold water and on a gentle cycle. Fabric banners should be laid flat or hung to dry.

Can I get any size I want?

No, our sizes are set and not able to accommodate a custom size at this time.

How do you print on the tension fabric stand?

We use a method called dye sublimation. We print your design on a special heat transfer paper in reverse which will then get pressed onto the fabric by a heat press. The image gets transferred onto the fabric. It is the most effective and durable process to print on the tension fabric which renders the highest quality images. Pretty cool stuff.

How long will my tension fabric stand last?

Depending on usage and care it should last 3 years. Avoid direct sunlight to extend the lifespan.

Does the tension fabric stand completely block the light to pass through?

No, it doesn't completely block light. There will be some light that will pass through based on our experience, especially if the sun is hitting directly behind it if it is positioned by a window or outside. If you are extremely concerned about the light passing through, you can choose to print 2 sided and put solid black on the back side which definitely helps.

Is the frame adjustable in size?

No, the frame for our displays are not adjustable.

How does the fabric attach to the frame?

The tension fabric does not attach to the frame. It simply fits perfectly to the tube frame by pulling over the fabric over the frame and zipping the bottom. Imagine when you pull the pillow case over your pillow, the same concept works with our tension fabric displays.

Where is the zipper located on my tension fabric display?

No worries, it is located at the bottom of the display and not visible at all.

What if the zipper breaks on my tension fabric display?

Technically the zipper is not needed, it is just an additional security and finish. The tension fabric is designed to fit snugly with its elasticity which even without a zipper it will look very professional and a perfect fit.
