What Are Floor Decals?

If you think you don’t know what floor decals are, think again. Remember the last time you got in line? Remember those helpful graphics stuck to the floor, cheerfully reminding you to keep your distance? Those are floor decals for social distancing. Decals are adhesive advertising that are 7 mil thick vinyl material.  You will most often see them in places of business. These floor stickers are made to advertise and inform your customers. These removable floor graphics are engineered to be thin enough to not disrupt foot traffic and have a certified slip resistance to ensure safety. What you might not have known is how durable these floor decals are. If you properly care for your  floor stickers you can depend on having them on your floors for up to a year! If you are placing them in a high trafficked area, they will be useful for around 6-8 months. But remember they're also removable, so if you need to redesign your store's look, no problem!

Color

We offer full color printed custom floor stickers. Our printers use the 4 primary colors: cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) to create any color on the spectrum. These will of course only be applied to one side of your floor decals as the other will be stuck to the floor.

Shape

We offer our standard and popular shapes: squares and circles. In our shopping cart you will see a third option in the shape of a star. Note this is our custom shape. This means if you select the star shape you can upload any shape you desire and we can accommodate you!

Size

Our floor decals come in three different sizes: 12”x 12”, 18”x18”, 24”x24”. This allows you to find a shape that meets your needs. Think about the aisle, or walk away or floor area where you will place the floor decals. Allow for enough area where they are well seen. What are the Benefits of Floor Decals?

• 7mil Thickness: This allows for enough thickness to be durable but not too much thickness to trip up your customers’ feet. You may ask if your floor decals need lamination. While of course we can provide lamination (request custom quote) it is not necessary as the texture your floor decal has is already quite durable.

• Water Resistant: It is inevitable that your customers will track in snow, slush, rain and mud. Don’t worry! Your floor decals won’t be disturbed by water. The water will not make the sticker peel back or wash away any if it's a brilliant color.

When Would I Use Floor Decals?

Where Do I Put My Floor Decals?

Custom vinyl floor graphics adhere best to non-porous surfaces, meaning surfaces without holes. Stick your custom printed floor decals on hardwood, tile, laminate, and sealed concrete. Be sure your tile is without grout lines though. 

How Do I Install and Remove Vinyl Floor Decals?

It is important for your floor decals to properly stick, that the surface is well cleaned. Any residue will compromise the firmness of your floor decals decorative look. To apply, simply peel your floor decal off it’s backing paper and place it on the cleaned area. Starting from the middle firmly press the floor decal towards the edges.
