Few things to keep in mind:

Digital foil registration has a 1/8" tolerance meaning that the paper shifts a bit during printing

When designing for digital foil, if you are choosing not to pursue a soft touch option, refrain from adding full color backgrounds or textures that overlap the foil area. Avoid using small or thin fonts for digital foil.
