Frequently Asked Questions
|
Q: Why do you only offer matte photo paper? A: Based on our experience and client feedbacks, we realized almost 95% of posters are preferred to be on matte stock and the reason is simple. The glare from any light source where you display the poster can disrupt the viewer's view. Whether you are in a restaurant, family room or a big convention, there is always bright lights and once the glare from the light hits your poster, it will be very hard to make out the poster. Also, matte paper prints are resistant to fingerprints from paper handling where as the high gloss paper and glossy almost certainly leave fingerprints. Although colors are slightly muted on matte paper, we feel it looks very sleek and our clients agree. For that reason we only offer matte photo paper.

Q: Do you offer lamination on your posters? A: No, we do not offer any laminations on our posters. We don't feel it is necessary as our latex ink is scratch free and it prints high quality on our premium matte photo paper.
Q: Why does it cost so much on higher quantities for posters? A: Since these are printed on our HP Latex printer, it is done one at a time, therefore our cost is set even at a higher point which is different from our offset press. If you are looking for bulk posters, please check out our Bulk Posters product which can produce high quantities at a fairly cheap price. Only thing to keep in mind is that the largest size we can print bulk offset posters is up to 24x36 as our bulk offset press can only take that size and posters will be printed on 100lb gloss text paper.
Q: Can you print on a thick card stock like 14pt cover or 100lb cover? A: No, we can not. These are done on rolls of paper and then trimmed. 14pt cover and 100lb cover only come in individual sheets. We can technically print on them with our UV Ink Printer but our the max size would be 26x40, which is the size of the sheet. If you would like either of these paper stock, do request a quote and we will make it happen for you.
